MENA Derivatives Trading Challenge 2023

CME Group invites you to take part in our third annual MENA Derivatives Trading Challenge, exclusively aimed at the Middle East region.

Want to learn what it is like to trade CME Group products using live data in a simulated market? Think you have what it takes to outperform your peers? Put yourself to the test by competing in our MENA Derivatives Trading Challenge.

The top three finishers for this challenge will each win a trophy. Gain experience in a risk-free simulated environment while competing for a top spot.

The Program is open strictly to UAE residents, working in the Dubai International Financial Centre (“DIFC”) who have reached the age of majority and are professional investors as defined by the Dubai Financial Services Authority (“DFSA”).

This competition is open to residents in the United Arab Emirates (UAE), Dubai International Financial Centre (DIFC), Abu Dhabi Global Market (ADGM).

How to Register

Get Started

  1. REGISTER: (NO PURCHASE NECESSARY) Register free with the CME Institute, which is where you will access the trading simulator.
  2. PREPARE: Arm yourself with product knowledge and practice before the contest starts by completing the pre-competition tasks outlined.
  3. COMPETE: Test your skills in the trading challenge beginning Wednesday, 26 July at 3:00 a.m. CT / 11:00 a.m. AST / 12:00 p.m. GST.

Competition Details

  • Throughout the Competition, all trades will be completed in the Challenge Simulator
  • All traders will begin with a virtual account of $100,000, with the goal of increasing the balance as much as possible by the conclusion of the competition
  • The top three eligible traders with the highest account balance will each win a trophy.
