MENA Derivatives Trading Challenge 2022

CME Group invites you to take part in our second annual Derivatives Trading Challenge exclusively aimed at the Middle East region. In collaboration, with the Dubai Mercantile Exchange (DME), the Gulf Bond and Sukuk Association (GBSA), the Dubai International Financial Centre (DIFC), and Nasdaq Dubai, the challenge starts on Monday, 13 June at 9:00 a.m. GST and ends on Wednesday, 15 June at 4:00 p.m. GST.

Join us for a unique chance to learn what it is like to trade live with the world’s leading derivatives marketplace in a simulated environment.

Trophies will be awarded to the first, second and third place contestants. 

The Program is open strictly to UAE residents, working in the Dubai International Financial Centre (“DIFC”) who have reached the age of majority and are professional investors as defined by the Dubai Financial Services Authority (“DFSA”).

Get Started

  1. REGISTER: (NO PURCHASE NECESSARY) Register free with the CME Institute, which is where you will access the trading simulator.
  2. PREPARE: Arm yourself with product knowledge and practice before the contest starts by completing the pre-competition tasks outlined.
  3. COMPETE: Test your skills in the trading challenge beginning Monday June 13 at 12:00 a.m. CT / 9:00 a.m. GST

Competition Details

  • Throughout the Competition, all trades will be completed in the Challenge Simulator
  • All traders will begin with a virtual account of $100,000, with the goal of increasing the balance as much as possible by the conclusion of the competition
  • The top three traders with the highest account balance will each win a trophy
