Challenge Details

We are excited to invite you to take part in our fifth annual Derivatives Trading Challenge, exclusively for the Middle East region.

Hosted in collaboration with the Gulf Mercantile Exchange (GME) and the Gulf Capital Market Association (GCMA), take advantage of a unique opportunity to experience live trading in the world’s leading derivatives marketplace, all from the safety of a simulated environment.

Trophies will be awarded to the first, second and third place contestants.

 

The Program is open strictly to UAE residents working in the Dubai International Financial Centre (“DIFC”) who have reached the age of majority and are professional investors as defined by the Dubai Financial Services Authority (“DFSA”).

This competition is open to residents in the United Arab Emirates (UAE), Dubai International Financial Centre (DIFC),and Abu Dhabi Global Market (ADGM). 

  • Throughout the Competition, all trades will be completed in the Challenge Simulator.
  • All traders will begin with a virtual account of $100,000, with the goal of increasing the balance as much as possible by the conclusion of the competition.
  • The top three eligible traders with the highest account balance will each win a trophy.

Complete the courses listed in the Challenge Dashboard before 1:00 a.m. AST on Saturday, 21 June 2025. During the five-day challenge you'll also receive exclusive educational videos that are optional but offer valuable learning opportunities.

COMPETE

Engage in trading CME Group’s top futures products in the Challenge, including both standard and micro-sized contracts.

Trading challenge is conducted between Monday, 16 June, 2025 at 2:00 a.m. AST - Saturday, 21 June, 2025 at 1:00 a.m AST.
